Who am I?

Hi, my name is Jen. I am based in The Netherlands. Considering you ended up on this website, I’m probably just like you.

My mum and I used to sew dresses for my dolls when I was little. That is how I started being interested in sewing. I went to school to become an allround tailor. In my years of goin g to school I did an internship in the theater at the costume department for several musicals. I fell in love instantly. I still work there now and I became head of the costume department. Goal!
But I realized that work is just work and not just life. I love to do all kinds of creative things. I learned how to crochet and knit. This took me a couple years to perfect but I have goten quit good at it if I say so myself. I would love to learn how to make my own patterns at one point.

I recently picked up the hobby woodcarving. Considering I just started it is save to say that it is challenging. I would love to be able to make my own wood bowls or something.
Besides these hobbies I also love to game, make beaded jewelry, draw (I am not good at this), garden, bake and cook and color.

The point of this website is to keep track of all the things I make and how. Maybe communicate with other people who are doing the same things and learn from each other.
